China on Tuesday condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan, saying it will maintain firm support for the efforts of the Pakistani government and people in safeguarding national stability.
"China opposes terrorism of all forms," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei at a regular press briefing.
At least two people were killed and five others injured when a suicide bomber struck a private bank in Pakistan's capital Islamabad Monday afternoon. A roadside bomb blast also injured several people in the northern part of the city on June 12.
"China has taken note of relevant reports," Hong said, adding that China offered condolences to the victims, and extended sympathy to the victims' relatives and the injured people.
