A suicide bomber blew his explosive- laden car near a NATO troops' convoy in western part of Afghan capital of Kabul on Saturday morning, police said.
"It was a suicide car bombing that targeted a foreign troops convoy in Darul Aman road at about 11:30 a.m. local time (0700 GMT) Saturday," a provincial police spokesman, Hashmat Stanikezy told Xinhua.
"There might be casualties but details will be released later," he added.
Meantime, a local private TV channel Tolo News quoted an unknown security source that at least three NATO soldiers have been killed in the blast.
The blast occurred in Darul Aman road near the parliament building at about 11:30 a.m., an eye witness, Mustafa told Xinhua.
"It was a suicide bomb blast happened at about 11:30 a.m. local time in Darul Aman road, a number of people got injured," the witness said, adding some injured people were transported by ambulances to nearby hospital.
The area is cordoned off by NATO and Afghan police and army forces.
