A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday that China will actively participate in the dialogue process between Iran and the P5+1 countries.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the remarks at a regular press briefing in response to questions related to the resumption of dialogue between Iran and P5+1, namely the United States, China, Russia, France, Britain and Germany.
The next round of nuclear talks will be held on April 13, but the venue has not been decided yet, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi said Wednesday.
"The six countries are communicating with Iran on relevant arrangements," Hong said.
He added that China was ready to work with all sides to continue to play a constructive role in the comprehensive, long-term and proper resolution of the Iran nuclear issue.
