Residents shop at the China-aided Agricultural Technology Demonstration Center in the Republic of Congo. Built in 2011 with Chinese government grants, the agriculture center grew from the Beijing Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. It is located 17 kilometers from Brazzaville and covers about 59 hectares. "Experience China", organized by the State Council Information Office of China, made its first visit in 2013 to the Republic of Congo in West Africa. A delegation of Chinese reporters first headed to the agricultural demonstration center when they arrived in Brazzaville on March 17. [Photo: China.org.cn] |
