Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan on Tuesday the Fukushima nuclear power plant was stabilizing step by step and called on the Japanese people to enjoy daily life.
Kan told a news conference that the leaks of radioactive particles were declining from the Fukushima plant. He urged the Japanese people not to exercise self-restraint one month after the disaster.
In addition, he proposed that the reconstruction after the March 11 earthquake should be future-oriented. Kan called on the opposition parties to join in the crafting of a reconstruction blueprint.
