Croatia pledged on Wednesday to ensure full cooperation with Libya's National Transitional Council (NTC) once it takes power.
Croatia would provide appropriate supports and assistance during the transition and recovery period, the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry said in a statement.
Croatia is confident that the Libyan people and the new Libyan authorities would recognize challenges in the transition process and successfully secure social unity and cohesion, the statement added.
The Croatian government made the announcement after Libyan rebel forces reportedly conquered the Bab al-Azizya compound on Tuesday, a military stronghold of Gaddafi's regime in the capital of Tripoli.
