Traffic accident kills six in southwest China

A truck fell down a steep slope due to the driver's improper operation, leaving six dead and five injured on Sunday in southwest China's Guizhou Province, local police said.
Six people were thrown out of the truck and died at the scene, while another five people were injured, at 7 a.m. in Danzhai County of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture.
All the injured were hospitalized, one of whom was seriously injured and the other four were in stable condition, doctors said.
Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
