Six people were killed and 10 others were injured in a car accident that occurred in northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region on Wednesday, local authorities said.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. on Expressway G30 in Shanshan County. A coach traveling between the cities of Hami and Urumqi slammed into a large truck, killing six people at the scene, including the coach's driver, according to local authorities.
The injured were taken to the People's Hospital of Shanshan County for treatment. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
