Two sick babies transferred by helicopter for treatment
Two sick babies stranded in a mountainous region of the quake-hit zone have been transferred to hospital for treatment by an army aviation regiment under the Jinan military area command.
Transparency ensured for relief materials distribution

Farmers in Sichuan have been particularly hard-hit by the quake. But with the help of the local governments, as well as PLA and paramilitary soldiers, they have started to plant for the next season.
1.5 mln temporary homes being built
Teams from around the country are rushing to put up 1.5 million temporary houses for people left homeless by the quake. Officials say the first batch of these homes should be ready for people to move in by the end of June.

Sunday marked International Children's Day. A group of kids from the Beijing Children's Palace tried to make their day a little more meaningful. At the National Museum of Fine Arts, they joined migrant workers from Sichuan in an effort to ease the pain of their peers who suffered from the effects of the deadly earthquake.
