?????? 保障性住房是與商品性住房（簡稱商品房，即condo/condominium）相對應的一個概念。保障性住房是指政府在對中低收入家庭實行分類保障過程中所提供的限定供應對象、建設(shè)標準、銷售價格或租金標準，具有社會保障性質(zhì)的住房。我們常說的經(jīng)濟適用房（affordable housing）和廉租房（low-rent housing）就屬于這類住房。

In 2009, the central government's public investment was 924.3 billion yuan, 503.8 billion yuan more than in the previous year's budget. Of this, 44% was invested in low-income housing, projects to improve the wellbeing of rural residents, and social programs; 16% in independent innovation, restructuring, energy conservation, emissions reductions, and ecological improvement; 23% in major infrastructure projects; and 14% in post-Wenchuan earthquake recovery and reconstruction.
