4. Chinese soccer rocked by corruption scandal
It just seems to go from bad to worse for soccer in China in 2010. Former Chinese Football Association (CFA) boss Nan Yong and his successor Xie Yalong's arrest has made it a total of nine CFA officials who have been arrested on corruption charges or are being investigated in 2010.
The crackdown on match fixing and corruption has been ongoing since the beginning of this year. More than 24 officials, coaches, referees and players have been involved.
