Johannesburg - Arjen Robben has finally arrived at the World Cup six days after the rest of his Dutch teammates, hoping to shake off a hamstring injury to play some part in the group games.
The Bayern Munich winger is a major doubt for Monday's game against Denmark at Johannesburg's Soccer City. But he hopes to be fit in time to face Japan in Durban on June 19 and and Cameroon in Cape Town five days later.
Robben, who is one of the Netherlands' key players in the competition, picked up the injury playing a needless backheeled pass in a warm-up game against Hungary in Amsterdam June 5.
He had already scored two goals in his team's 6-1 victory.?
