NATO's air raid against Taliban militants in east Afghanistan left a dozen insurgents dead on Tuesday, a press release of the alliance said Wednesday.
"Coalition aircraft dropped precision-guided munitions on insurgent locations. More than a dozen insurgents were reportedly killed," the press of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said.
The incident occurred in a border area in east Afghanistan, the press release added but did not disclose the name of the exact place.
There were no casualties on civilians, it further noted.
Taliban militants have yet to make comment.
