Finance ministers from China, Japan and South Korea met here on Sunday to discuss macroeconomic situations in the East Asia region and regional financial cooperation.
All three ministers agreed that under the current circumstances, China, Japan and South Korea should further strengthen coordination of macroeconomic policies, deepen regional financial cooperation, and commit to safeguarding regional economic and financial stability as well as promoting regional economic recovery and growth.
Chinese Finance Minister Xie Xuren presided the 10th ministerial meeting held on the sidelines of the 43rd annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which opened on Saturday.
It was the first ADB annual meeting being held in a Central Asian nation.
