The death toll from flood in Thailand since Oct. 10 has risen to 203, the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported on Thursday.
It is an increase of 18 from the 185 confirmed fatalities the department reported on Wednesday.
The department said a total of 144 people in the northern, northeastern, eastern and central plains and 59 in southern provinces lost their lives in widespread flooding.
Flood waters have receded 21 provinces but 18 provinces with 1. 4 million people are still being affected by flooding.
