The death toll in an expressway accident in south China's Guangdong Province rose to eleven after two more bodies were found at the scene on Sunday evening, an official with the provincial government said Monday.
Twenty-one people who were injured, including three seriously injured, were still in hospital, said the official with the emergency management office of Guangdong provincial government.
The accident occurred at around 3 p.m. Saturday when a trailer collided head-on with a coach on an expressway near Huizhou city, instantly killing ten passengers, including two children, on the coach.
Another seriously injured person died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday in hospital after treatment failed.
