Easing traffic congestion: 105 projects

Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport completed 105 reformation projects in 2012 that have already reduced the number of traffic jams throughout the city. In 2013, Beijing will carry out roughly 1,500 measures to ease city traffic and most of the measures will target the city's more prosperous areas. More efforts will be exerted to speed up construction of parking facilities, with a total of 40,000 new parking spaces in neighborhoods created to help solve the city's parking problems.
