Brazil head coach Mano Menezes on Wednesday said he expected Ronaldo to return to high level soccer soon.
"With as much energy as he is giving now, Roanldo has the ability to play with the same ability and definition," said the former head coach of Corinthians, for which Ronaldo plays.
"In the beginning, he will run into hard times, but if his motivation increases, he will play very well."
Ronaldo has been sidelined with a right calf injury since early May. He has yet to play for Menezes' replacement at Corinthians, head coach Adilson Batista.
After continually setting back his return, the player appears to be giving it one last push and propel his career back into activity.
