Even worse, proteins found in canned food are harder to be digested and absorbed than fresh foods. Many canned fruits are immersed in sugar water, and liquid sugar is very easily absorbed by humans, which can make blood glucose levels surge within a short period of time, causing burden to the pancreas. Also, too much sugar can lead to obesity.
