A magnitude-7.3 earthquake hit New Britain region of Papua New Guinea on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The quake struck at 11:35 p.m. (1335 GMT) at the epicenter, 65 km southeast of Kimbe, New Britain with a depth of 57.6 km, the USGS said.
There is no immediate report of any casualties or damages in the quake.
